New Research Questions Use of Painkillers in IBD

For many years it has been generally accepted that people with IBD should avoid NSAIDs (a class of painkillers that are available over-the-counter and be prescription) because of the risk of a flare-up. New research indicates that this may not occur as often as was thought in the past. Does this mean people with IBD can now take NSAIDs?
