Prednisone is a drug that is commonly used to treat Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and other inflammatory or autoimmune diseases. Chances are, if you have IBD you may take this drug to calm a flare-up. This drug has some side effects and special precautions that you should know before you take it. CAN YOU HAVE HAIR LOSS WHEN YOU ARE GETTING OF OF PREDNISONE? I STARTED AT 80MG AM NOW DOWN TO 7MG.AND I AM HAVEING HAIR LOSS. IS THIS COMMON? THANK YOU
