Accutane Being Pulled From Market

Accutane, a drug that is used to treat severe acne, is being pulled from the market by its maker, Roche AG. The drug has been the subject of several lawsuits over the years, with Roche eventually paying millions of dollars to several people who claimed that Accutane caused their inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The company maintains that the drug is being pulled because of financial reasons and not because of concerns over safety.
