Don't Get the Flu This Year!

This year, it seems as though the flu shots were ready very early. In fact, I already had my shot last week. Before I had children I didn't worry too much about getting a flu shot every year, but as I know now, I should have been more concerned.

Are you at high risk for developing complications from the flu? It's time to think about getting a flu shot this season. Learn about the groups that are at risk. If you do get the flu, remember that a course of antibiotics will not help, and might even lead to a needless case of antibiotic-associated diarrhea. If you have IBD, be sure to consider your options about getting a flu shot.
