Antibiotic use and the development of Crohn’s disease
Researchers in the UK have found a link between Crohn's disease and antibiotic use. Of the 587 Crohn's disease patients, 71% had taken antibiotics in the last 2-5 years. This "statistically significant" association was also observed with the use of oral contraceptive, cardiovascular, and neurological drugs.
