IBS--9 Causes?
A statistical analysis has indicated that addressing 9 different variables in the gastrointestinal system could result in successful treatment for IBS symptoms. These variables are: beneficial gastrointestinal bacterial levels; identification of high levels of abnormal bacteria, yeast or parasites; restoration of normal gastrointestinal chemistry; restoration of normal digestive enzyme levels (especially after gall bladder surgery); patient-specific IBS diet by identifying intolerances to dairy, fructose or gluten; the diagnosis of celiac disease; and detection of possible delayed-sensitivity food allergies.
