Sex, Marriage and Crohn's
No, it's not the latest Indie movie (wouldn't it be cool if it were?), but a post in our forum about the difficulties of intimacy with Crohn's. TanyaVT writes that her life would be different if "some health professional had only told me that this could be a side effect of Crohn's disease." Fistula Frustrations?
A fistula is an abnormal tunnel connecting two body cavities or a body cavity to the skin, and are more common in Crohn's Disease than in ulcerative colitis. The bad news is that approximately 30% of people with Crohn's Disease develop fistulas. The good news is that once healed, a fistula should not re-occur.
