Maryland Senate Considering Restroom Legislation

Good news from my email for those living and traveling in Maryland:

Dear Amber:

The Maryland General Assembly is considering legislation that I'm sure will be of interest to some of your readers. SB304 makes it a $50 fine for a mercantile establishment to not allow a person to use their toilet facilities if they (1) Suffer from Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis or any other inflammatory bowel disease, or any other medical condition that requires immediate access to a toilet facility; or (2) Utilizes an ostomy device

All aspects of the legislation are documented at MetroPed.org
