Study Examines Administration of "Good" Bacteria

Antibiotics not only kill off the bacteria that cause infection, but they also kill off the good bacteria that the body needs. Doctors at The Medical College of Georgia hope to show that giving probiotics to patients in intensive care may reduce the number of infections.
