The Prep is Worse Than the Test...If you've ever had a colonoscopy you know what I mean! Drinking a gallon of bad tasting liquid or a glass of horrible tasting liquid are pretty much your choices. After that, a test that's conducted while you're under sedation (which you most likely won't even remember) is not that big a deal. Now imagine making a kid go through that prep. There's some good news for pediatric patients--a new prep that's given mixed in the beverage of their choice for 4 days prior to the test.08:18 PM # |
