Smoking cigarettes has a negative effect on the entire body - including the digestive tract. When smoke is inhaled into the body, it enters the stomach and intestines as well as the lungs.
Cigarette smoke can cause the following symptoms:

- Cramping
- Gas
- Stomach rumbling
Smoking can cause or worsen these conditions:
- Acid reflux
- Cancer of the Esophagus
- Cancer of the Stomach
- Heartburn
- Peptic ulcer
