American College of Surgeons Fellowship List
Listings of surgeons across the world that belong to the American College of Surgeons. Fellows are described as surgeons whose abilities "have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College" and Associate Fellows are surgeons "who meet specific requirements to assume an active role in the College at an early stage in their careers".
American Medical Association Physician Select
Search for doctors within the US by name or by medical specialty (Gastroenterology, Surgery, Oncology, etc.). Includes a "sounds like" search if the spelling of the city used is uncertain. Listing information includes where the physician attended medical school, residency training, email and web address (where available).
American Osteopathic Association
This site doesn't list doctors, but instead lists Ostoepathic Associations by state, many of which have their own web sites. Also see What is a DO?.
