Perhaps best-known for his portrayal of President Charles Logan on the Fox television show "24," Gregory Itzin is a working actor who has played roles in dozens of television shows, movies, and live theater. Included among Itzin's television credits are "Friends," "Judging Amy," "Boston Legal," "The West Wing," and "Firefly," as well as 5 separate roles on various Star Trek series. His movie roles include "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," "The Fabulous Baker Boys," "Airplane!," "What's Cooking?," "Evolution," "Original Sin," and "Life or Something Like It." He's been nominated for several awards during his career, including an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work on "24."
Itzin also has ulcerative colitis, which he says is well-controlled through "diet and diligence." In conjunction with the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA), he has completed several radio public service announcements in order to publicize the Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis Walks. Over 100 Take Steps Walks are held across the U.S. each spring and summer, raising millions of of dollars for CCFA programs.
Itzin currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
