Keeping track of the drugs and supplements you take for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) (as well as other conditions) can be a hassle, especially when the dosage changes or you’re trying new drugs to find one that works for your symptoms. It’s a good idea to keep a list of the medications you take and their dosages in your wallet or purse. Then when you’re at the doctor's office you don’t have to rely on memory, you have it written down. It will also be helpful to have this information with you in case you are ever in an emergency situation and can’t communicate.

If you want to get super-organized, you can keep your list in a text document or a spreadsheet on your computer. When your drugs or dosages change, you can update the sheet quickly and print it out.
