Avoid Carbonated Beverages

Two of the major complaints for people with IBS are bloating and gas. What many people do not know is that carbonated beverages do not only contribute to belching, they can also result in intestinal gas and bloating.

These days carbonation is not only found in soda pop, but also in bottled water and fruit juice. Soda pop often contains caffeine as well as carbonation, making it a poor choice for people with intestinal problems.
