From the article: How to Survive the Holidays
Many holidays revolve around food, but for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), rich holiday fare is not always the best choice. During a flare-up, food choices may be limited to the items that are more easily digested or won't cause heartburn or worsen nausea. Therefore, it's probably better to create holiday traditions that don't revolve around food, but instead celebrate friends and family, better our communities, or deepen our faith. What are your favorite holiday traditions? Has your IBD changed the way you celebrate these traditions?
