Dating is difficult even for healthy people. Dating when you have a chronic illness like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) can be downright frustrating. Yet, people with IBD meet people, fall in love, get married, and have children just like everyone else. How do you manage your dating life with IBD? Do you have any tips or tricks for the young people with IBD who are just starting their dating years? If you're out of the dating market, is there anything you would have done differently? Dating with IBD

Don't worry about disclosing your IBD on the first few dates. If they stick around long enough, the opportune time will present itself... like at dinner. If you disclose and they stick around... then they are a keeper!
