Can Pepto Bismol Turn Your Stool Black?

Black stool is never something that you want to see. It can really strike fear and panic into your heart. Green, red, or orange stool can also give you quite a shock. But there are several reasons why stool can be any of these colors, that doesn't have anything to do with cancer or other serious problems. Sometimes it is literally about what you ate. And sometimes it can even be a side effect of a supplement or a medication you took to make yourself to feel better. How about Pepto Bismol -- which is pink. Can that actually turn your stool black?
