Kids with Crohn's and Colitis
A new study from The Ohio State University focuses on the mental health of children with IBD between the ages of 11 and 17 years. Perhaps not surprisingly, children with IBD tend to have more behavioral, emotional and eating behavior problems than their healthy peers. The study is currently under review for publication in the Journal of Pediatric Psychology. See more information for parents of children with IBD or IBS on tests, medication, being an advocate, and school issues. Also see information written for the kids and teens themselves.
