Find Yourself a Video Game Playing Surgeon
I had a gastro who loved to play computer games. Often between patients he'd be in his office "blowing things up" on the computer on his desk. At the time I thought it was funny -- but maybe we should pay more attention to our doctor's and surgeon's extracurricular activities. A new study shows that surgeons may increase their hand-eye coordination by playing video games. But don't tell your kids...they may claim interest in the medical field as an excuse to play Nintendo all day!
