Kevin Dineen, Former Right Wing

National Hockey League player Kevin Dineen was drafted to the Hartford Whalers in 1982 as the 56th selection. In the 1994-95 season he was a finalist for the Masterson Trophy. Kevin served as captain of the Philadelphia Flyers in 1993-94, the Hartford Whalers in 1996-97, and the Carolina Hurricanes in 1997-98.
He has played in over 1,000 games in the NHL with the Whalers, the Flyers, the Hurricanes, and the Ottowa Senators. He's also holds the Hurricane record for penalty minutes (1,441), and comes in second for games played (708), goals (250), assists (294) and points (544). Kevin also has Crohn's Disease, and is a spokesperson for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. Kevin retired from the NHL in 2002 with 1,184 career games.
